Sunday roast -lamb shank and mixed meat carvery.
very quick service after ordering.
is also close to the NIA so a lot of people use it pre-concerts. the staff seem to be regulars and look happy in their work. the food is also well-priced and they do things like haddock on a bed of veg, which lots of other pubs don't. their salads tend to be more imaginative than tomatoes. greens etc, and have a colourful variety of stuff

We visited early Thursday evening for a pre theatre meal. Two pizzas for the price of one was on offer. The bar and the restaurant were quite busy. I thought it would take a while for our food order to be taken at the bar. However, excellent customer service by the barman and we soon had our meal. The pizzas were extraordinarily good. The service was spot on.
Not the first time we have eaten here and of course it won't be the last.

Great visit here on St Patrick's day. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff were sound. So much better than the walkabout pub where we were at for the rugby last year.

I work quite close by and chose this place for lunch with my father. The service was good and the lunch menu is varied and reasonable (£5.50 including a drink). The food was served promptly. Both the pork sandwich and the wrap were pleasant although only warm not hot - this didn't spoil the enjoyment but i was unsure if they should have been served hotter. If you want a hearty lunch hour lunch at a good price then I can recommend it. Staff were nice too.
