Having the Lickey Hills on our doorstep in Birmingham is great.
With such bast open space, lovely walks and many things for the kids to enjoy this is a great free family day out.

I sometimes think we forget this is here! Popular with walkers, cyclists and lots of dogs(with owners). There are trails to suit all, long and short which are well marked, even though we came across lost people.
The centre is packed with information and environment displays. The café has a surprisingly good menu at reasonable prices and a great place outside to eat if the weather permits. Great for kids and a nice family outing.

as with any park licky hills can be very busy. lots of school trips & families at peak times. we have always found it pleasant to walk the dog & follow up with a picnic lunch.
great views from the top. good trails to follow or you can just gamble about & enjoy a little quiet time.

The tables in the restaurant were not clean and had food and plates all over them. The staff coughed and sneezed over food and into their hands before serving and touching food. It was very noisy and difficult to enjoy the countryside beauty. Once out in the wilderness, it is very nice only there are lots of steep hills and rabbit holes you must watch out for. It has a lovely view of the countryside and is great for dog walking. Not at all suitable for the disabled, young or injured.
