We attended The Carlow Association Dinner Dance and it was the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel ,the fist time we stayed in the annex and found that comfortable and clean . this time we were in the main building and it was superb, very clean nicely decorated throughout. the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and a good size, not the dark pokey broom cupboard that most hotels provide. The breakfast was buffet style and eggs were freshly cooked as you asked for them. From check in to check out was first class and the staff were pleasant helpful and very polite.Would highly recommend this hotel.

4th stay at the Westley and still good value for money. As a Rewards scheme member got a free upgrade to an executive room,. Stayed 2 nights Saturday / Sunday, had SUnday lunch from the carvery. Excellent service from all the staff.
Slight criticism is that Sunday evening is karoake in the bar so if you need a quiet meal probably best to eat elsewhere as restaurant is not open Sunday evenings and if your room over looks the bar area you may be disturbed by late leavers at 12:00pm. Hotel manager has responded to these small criticism very favourably with some good suggestions. Will be staying in the future as very good location for NEC and city centre.

Room Tip: Stay in main house and if at weekend try and stay away from bar area

we stayed in this best western as we were attending a wedding reception so was not expecting too much but were pleasantly delighted from the fast efficient check in to the delightful room. It had the best shower i have used for years the heat instructions were large enough to read at my great age without glasses and the other knob governed the pressure. The times i have had to ask my partner to sort out the d...n shower are without count .Why are all hotel showers not like this one. We went to a wedding where the buffet had hot food with hot plates! Even the sandwiches were made from sliced meat that were obviously from an animal not some processed marvel. We went to bed earlier than the younger guests expecting to use ear plugs but there was no sound in the room from the disco so bliss. The next morning the breakfast was a delight everything freshly cooked even at 5 minutes to 10 their cut off point with cheerful happy girls even though I had noticed the one girl working until very late the previous evening. So all in all we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a happy event
