“Really comfortable accommodation”
Reviewed 17 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

From first booking, to leaving after a weeks' stay, everything about this rental was first class. The booking process was straight forward as was both paying for the rental and having the deposit refunded.
The accommodation itself is a converted garage and great thought has been given to the design to provide both comfort and ease of use.
The surrounding area is a wealth of country houses, historical sites and walks both through the countryside and canal towpaths.
In short we had a most enjoyable week and can highly recommend this cottage.

“Comfortable, cosy cottage - we loved it!”
Reviewed 7 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Stayed here on a 4 night break - first real cold snap of the winter but we were very warm in this well equipped cottage. Just the two of us - we have friends in the area so met up with them, also visited Stratford and the surrounding area, plus had a day in Birmingham. Sarah, the owner, had left us a bottle of wine - very nice thanks.

We took the train from Wilmcote village to Birmingham - only 45 minutes, pretty cheap and probably much easier than driving in and trying to park at this busy time of year.

The cottage is open plan with kitchen and living/dining area on the ground floor, bedroom on a mezzanine floor. The downstairs bathroom is great with a large separate shower and heated towel rail, and room to keep toiletries etc.. Kitchen very well equipped and we had everything we needed - although we only cooked a couple of breakfasts and heated up a ready meal. There is a small courtyard garden at the back of the cottage. .

The underfloor heating made the place feel very warm and cosy - despite it being very cold outside we were extremely warm and found we had to turn the heating off way before we went to bed.

The mezzanine floor where the bedroom area is has a proper staircase up to it and there was enough space for us to put our clothes and store the case away in a cupboard. We were happy to sit on the sofa and watch TV when we came back in the evenings - much more comfortable than a hotel room. Furnishings very good and plenty of light in the place as there were Velux windows in the roof plus large French doors out to the garden area.

The canal is a short walk from the cottage (as is the railway station) and you can walk into Stratford along the canal path. A very good base for visiting Stratford and the surrounding areas. Would recommend it.

“Fantastic little place”
Reviewed 17 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

My partner and I thoroughly loved staying at Little Longfields - it was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. Sarah was an excellent host, and we were grateful for the cooking oil :-) we'd love to stay again if we're in the area. Many thanks.
