This is an excellent property and represents great value for money. It is newly built this year and is very well equipped for self catering. We found it to be very comfortable and spacious with an airy feel due to plenty of natural light via. the roof lights and large picture window looking onto the private patio area. The lounge is double height with an exposed green oak truss which gives the space a bit of character which is different from the normal self-catering cottage. Both my wife and I tend to self cater on most holidays and we both agree this is easily one of the best we have stayed in. The owners are a lovely family and were very attentive to our needs - which were very minimal since nearly everything has been thought of. There were just the two of us and I therefore can't comment on suitably for 3 or 4 staying but it is absolutely perfect for two.. We used the house as a base to visit the local area - Stratford etc and do all the standard Shakespearian things including theatre visits. The location is ideal, set within a quite village with two pubs and a well stocked local shop (NB they grow and sell there own salad leaves - very tasty). Of the pubs we only tried the Mary Arden Inn which is OK (I have written a review in Tripadvisor) The village also has a station and the canal goes through it also. Mary Arden's Farm is a main tourist attraction and is worth a visit. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and if we visit this area again we would certainly book up here for a repeat stay.
