Stayed at the property for one night whilst at a concert at the Metro Arena. The location of the hotel was fab with noise level being at a minimum. There is limited spaces at the back of the hotel to park which we were lucky to get. Apart from that you have to park on the road (but be careful as a lot of the area is permit parking)

The hotel was over £100 for one night for a triple room. The room was ok. Beds were comfortable. The only downside is that the heating comes on around 3.00am and the single bed is touching the radiator - leading to a member of the party burning their leg!! The room was on the smaller side with little room between the beds and the door to the bathroom. However, the bathroom was fabulous! Very powerful shower and nice and cleaner (however we had no toilet rolls?!) Some paint peeling from the walls and a little bit of dust but for only one night, we didn't really mind.

The breakfast is in the restaurant next door. The hot breakfast was fantastic and full of flavour. Fruit juice and cereals available on the table to help yourself to.

Overall it was ok for what we needed but would not stay for more than one night and look for something a bit more roomy next time.

We have just arrived back today from a 1 night stay here. We booked as we had concert tickets and wanted the area of Jesmond. Location was fab and the staff were very friendly, couldn't do enough for you and we're welcoming. The hotel wasn't cheap cheap at over £100 a night for a triple. The hotel is very old and dated it's worn and needs some TLC and a modernisation .. Walls were all marked and holed, blinds broken, bath cracked, toilet wouldn't flush, light bulbs all out and this seemed to be the theme throughout the hotel. It was clean, beds were comfy and it was very quiet so you got a good nights sleep, breakfast was nice and set you up for the day! Overall an average ok stay and would maybe look at something a bit more fresh looking next time.

Very good hotel, excellent value. Large room and bathroom. Warm, comfortable, quiet, free parking off street and free wifi. Good location, easy access in and around city. Michael the porter/ barman helpful and friendly. Good Italian restaurant attached to hotel, don't forget to ask for guest discount as it is not presumed. Would recommend to family and friends. Liked lots of space disliked nothing.

There are plenty of reviews here that'll give you a flavour of the hotel. It is no frills but good value. I'm writing as they were very helpful in refunding me for a night's accommodation when my plans changed. They didn't have to as I'd booked via a website but went out their way to amend the booking so I got my money back. Not something you generally see.
