After a good explore of the adjacent Biscuit Factory Gallery we popped into the cafe on the second floor for a snack. A pot of tea for two, a glorious pecan brownie and delicious lemon and almond polenta cake were selected from the excellent range of home made cakes. We were also tempted by elderflower cheesecake and pistachio and raspberry blondie.

There are tables in a variety of rooms, bright and airy with large windows. We chose a window table with a crackle glass top and settled down for a chat with our delicious cakes- the brownie was dense and gooey the polenta cake was wonderful.

It's a very pleasant cafe. There are a variety of snacks available and a wonderful range of ice cream including lemon curd, rhubarb and rose. Definitely on the list for our next visit.

Visited the Biscuit Factory recently. Great gallery with really interesting art. Restaurant looks good too. Pity about the coffee shop ( Factory Kitchen). Surroundings are pleasant as is the staff. However we found the service was really slow. Sadly that was topped by two mouldy cheese scones. Staff looked horrified and scones were quickly exchanged. Couldn't eat them as it put us off. Won't be having coffee here again ☹️

After a super visit to the "biscuit factory gallery" a visit for refreshments here is essential. Great staff great food great drink. Very comfortable area within the gallery. Sit down and decide which art works you are going to buy. Loverly crisp clean place.

We visited the gallery and then realised there was a restaurant. The food is lovely and I would definitely recommend. I had a butternut squash salad and toasted sourdough bread and my daughter had the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel.
