A great cottage in a quiet location. All mod cons and nothing left lacking. Beds were very comfortable and the entire cottage spotless. Due to the variable weather it was nice that a fire was laid ready in case we needed it - which we did on a cold and wet Sunday evening.
Neighbours friendly and the staff at The Maybush pub down the lane welcoming and happy to allow our (well behaved) dog on the patio and in the bar area. Food excellent and breakfast in the sun by the river a real treat. Cottage was in a great location for exploring Suffolk and walks by the river were lovely in all weathers.

Fabulous little cottage, beautifully restored and extended and offering the very best accommodation. Steep stairs so not suitable for perhaps the very young or anyone with walking problems. Half the fun was coming down them backwards. Clean, confortable and well stocked. Only a stones throw from the river Deben (literally) with a nice bit of beach and great pub with the best fish and chips ever. Can't speak highly enough of this little hideaway. You will need a car as its off the beaten track but that just added to its charm. Easy access to Woodbridge and all points Suffolk. Don't want you to go there though, just want to save it for myself. By the way, the property wasn't as advertised - it was better.
