We dined here Easter Monday.. we hadn't booked but got a table after 5 minutes..
Not much choice!!! I chose steak..and asked for a side order of salad as an extra.
Dinner arrived steak, half a tomato, one mushroom, and a tea cup of salad (£3.50)
It looked lost on the plate... no chips??
They thought I was substituting the chips for the salad....they then fetched some chips.. again a small portion about a whisky glass full....Hubby chose the burger. The food is lovely, fancy presentation.... but small portions...
The staff are great and the decor is special.

Came for first time since refurbishment which is very well done Disappointed in service Waited an hour and a half for our food, waited half an hour after we had requested drinks menu and had to ask someone if we could then order drinks
There was a piece of plastic in my daughters chicken which was the final strew The manager was apologetic and attentive but the damage had been done by then
A refund for the meal was offered but unfortunately that will not make me hurry back

Tried here since it has re-opened. Heard a few mixed reviews but we were impressed. It has a nice setting with plenty of tables to eat. The service was good and didn't need to wait long to be served. We only had a sandwich for lunch and a glass of wine but very nicely presented and tasted great. It has a great menu with plenty of choice. Would definitely go back.

Called in for lunch and very impressed with the decor - recently upgraded. The lunch menu is NOT extensive but made up by the full menu choice. The food we had was very good, as was the service. The choice of ales is somewhat limited but wines available quite extensive. I will not hesitate to return, even though it is not 'cheap'. To my mind it borders on fair value.

Fantastic new restaurant. The décor is like a top restaurant in London. Service superb really made to feel welcome. The menu is slightly limited but the food is excellent and well presented. I had a Thai curry and I would normally only eat Thai in a proper Thai restaurant but the meal was excellent. Good choice of real ales and other drinks.
Best restaurant in Stafford and would recommend.
