We arrived to be told all the draught beers were off and as we three all appreciate beer this was not a good start.
My friends food was cold and an explanation by the waiter (from the chef) as to how the food was prepared could not hide the fact his food was lukewarm when it really shouldn’t have been.
My two friends plates were cleared whilst I was still eating - not acceptable.
On the plus side the French Malbec was delightful but overall we had the impression that as a hotel restaurant they have a captive audience and consequently don’t need to try too hard.
