“Warm, homely flat with fantastic views and comfy beds.”
Reviewed 15 February 2012 for a stay in February 2012

Had a great time here - from the very comfy beds to the great bathroom. The flat was very warm with lots of hot water. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was fantastic and the views magical. I'd definately recommend Oriel Drive to others and will hopefully be back soon for another stay.

“Comfortable and cosy with fantastic view of The Tor”
Reviewed 2 November 2011 for a stay in October 2011

15 Oriel Drive is a real home from home. The cosy flat has everything you could need and is warm and cosy. It's ideally suited for the town centre, the Abbey, Chalice Gardens and supermarket and the view of the Tor reminds you you're somewhere special when you're relaxing in the flat.

I stayed with my mum and my 13 month old son and it was perfect for the three of us. It was very toddler friendly and he had a lovely time there.

Barbara, the owner, is friendly and approachable. It's clear how much she loves Glastonbury and that she wants her guests to have the best time they can.

I'd love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Management Response
13 Sep 2011
Immediately we spoke with this guest, we put an extra, lower level mirror and a new ceiling light in the bathroom, both fair comments. The beds are a UK standard 4'6" double and a 3' single, we also have a good sized double sofa bed.

“Perfect Spot in Glastonbury”
Reviewed 22 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

Lovely apartment - everything you need for self-catered accommodation - even a food processor! Ideally situated for the Abbey, the Tor and Chalice Well as well as the town centre shops. Even a supermarket opposite - with great fish and meat produce. No worries about parking - a joy not to have to drive anywhere for 3 days. Would definitely come again.

“A perfect little home from home”
Reviewed 2 August 2011 for a stay in July 2011

My children and I visit Glastonbury every year and ordinarily we stay in Bed and Breakfast. However, this year we decided to stay in self-catering accommodation and we were lucky enough to find 15 Oriel Drive.

Most self catering accommodation is limited to Saturday-Saturday rental, but this is not the case with Oriel Drive. Barbara (the approachable, friendly owner of the property) is flexible about arrival days which enabled us to book from the Monday of our arrival.

The apartment contains everything that could be required by a small group. With two children, the washing machine and tumble dryer certainly came in handy and I particularly liked the binoculars that were great for watching people walking up Glastonbury Tor.

The location is ideal. Situated next to a supermarket, Oriel Drive is perfect for popping in to buy fresh produce every day. A little alleyway from the side of the supermarket car park leads to Magdalene street and the quirky, unusual shops that make Glastonbury so unique.

The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and as a whole the apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. As suggested by Barbara we brought our own Sky TV card with us so that we could access all our usual channels, which was great for moments of relaxation.

The apartment is very reasonably priced, certainly cheaper than a B&B but with the convenience of having ones own kitchen facilities. We enjoyed our stay very much and the day after returning home I have already contacted Barbara to book again for next year. Which says it all really.
