The whole family had a lovely time staying in Dunster from start to finish. We would definitely consider a return visit one day.

Lovely cottage. Nicely spacious, quiet and near the pub! We really enjoyed our mid-week stay here. Parking was easier than I expected too. Great place ☺

“Cottage stay”
Reviewed 9 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Cottage was warm & maintained neatly with all the amenities. Dunster castle was good and had a nice river walk around the castle. Had a travel on West Somerset railway which was good, kids liked it very much.

“Delightful cottage fully of history set in a beautiful medieval village”
Reviewed 4 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Dunster has lots of interesting places to see nearby, Dunster Castle, Exmoor, Valley of the Rocks walk at Lynton. We ate at the nearby Stag's Head and the food was superb. We also had a cream tea in Dunster, again faultless.

The cottage itself was warm, clean and very well kitted out. The visitors book and folder 'AboutDamson Cottage' was full of useful tips. The owner, Caroline responded to my emails and texts within a short space of time. I can highly recommend this as a hassle free place to stay.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed 22 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The cottage is full of character and a lovely space to relax. All very homely, comfortable, clean and tidy. There are many of the essential items you need while away, in the cottage. Dunster is a really pretty place and the castle well worth a visit. Thank you for a great stay.
