We are just back from a wonderful 3 night stay at Little Owl Barn. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations the barn was spotlessly clean, the interior could have come straight out of a magazine whilst still being cosy and welcoming. Little owl barn has such a wonderful feeling to it so as soon as you walk in the door it feels like home. The barn is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of bath which was perfect, after the hustle and bustle of bath it was a short walk to the peaceful tranquility of our weekend home the best of both worlds. We would highly recommend a stay and can not wait to return.
We had a lovely stay at the Little Owl Barn. After a long day sight seeing and shopping, it's the perfect place to rest up and relax. The barn is beautiful inside and out with a high quality finish in each room.
The location is fantastic as it has a nice country feel but yet only a 15 minute walk to Bath city centre. We highly recommend staying and look forward to another visit in the future!

We have just arrived back from a three night stay at the Little Owl Barn in Bath which we enjoyed thoroughly- the cottage is fabulous - Jillys taste in decor is delightful and when we arrived the barn was lovely and warm and she had lit little candles and she had left a lovely breakfast welcome package including lovely homemade , crusty bread and fresh eggs. The barn is within easy walking distance of Bath although if you wished a taxi only cost us £6 after a full day of shopping and sight seeing in glorious Bath with heavy bags. I would throughly recommend this cottage to either a girls weekend or a romantic break - absolutely fabulous and totally memorable
What can I say!? Absolutely brilliant from the moment we arrived. We phoned ahead as we were having a couple of issues finding it and were met by the housekeeper in Jilly's absence. The barn itself sits opposite the house and was incredibly spacious considering there were only two of us. Upon entering we found staples provided in the kitchen (bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc), towels on the bed and immaculately clean. The bedroom was nice and airy and the bed very comfortable with rugs on each side so you didn't have to put your feet down on the cold stone flags in the morning. The bathroom is also incredibly roomy with a great power shower and the barn has it's own dedicated boiler so no worrying about using all the hot water. The kitchen comes well stocked with utensils pots and pans and plenty of cutlery and glasses and everything in perfect working order. I especially liked the small touches of putting in those things that you always forget or can't take when going away like a hair dryer in the bed room, iron and ironing board and an umbrella by the door should you need it.
Jilly herself couldn't have been more accommodating - we had a few places left to visit on the day we left and Jilly kindly let us leave the car and use the cottage until we were ready to leave in the afternoon which saved us a lot of fussing around parking and rushing around in the morning. Overall an absolutely lovely stay, great location which takes about 15 minutes to walk into the southern side of Bath, the barn has everything you need and more and would happily go back there again.
