Description: Neighboring the iconic Roman Baths and Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths Kitchen is a stunning Georgian townhouse, lovingly transformed into a contemporary restaurant in the heart of Bath. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner and bar drinks. With a large outside seating area, The Roman Baths Kitchen is perfectly positioned for a spot of alfresco dining amongst some of Bath's most beautiful architecture. The restaurant is a great choice and groups looking to dine in the centre of Bath.

Came here for some lunch last week, had never been here before, so thought we'd try it out. It was really nice, lovely atmosphere, great staff, good food, enough for a spot of lunch, but you could have more, or even less if you wanted to. Good for vegetarians. Lots more room downstairs, I would say they cater for large groups easily. Toilets down stairs, quite a lot of stairs, may be tricky if someone has difficulty managing stairs. Lovely clean loos though! Only criticism, they do American style fries, I prefer proper chip-like chips, i.e a bit thicker! We sat in the window, next to the street, but it was possible to look out the other side and see (and hear!) Abbey Court Yard.

Ate lunch here today:

Very good table service

Lovely atmosphere

Good choice of food & drink on menu

If ordering the salad nicoise the tuna is seared so it’s rare in the middle do ask the waiter/ waitress for it to be cooked to your liking as I forgot!

Very good at allergy requirements

Would highly recommend eating here

Not a cheap place, but excellent food and a selection of excellent Bath beers. Very handy if you are visiting the Baths and want something other than the cafe.

We booked a table here as part of the Torchlight and Roman Bath's package. This package is completely misleading for visitors expecting to dine in an atmosphere within the Bath's or that match the Baths experience. The Roman Bath's kitchen is situated opposite. The atmosphere and decor does not compare. Waitresses were polite enough but the service was rushed when we first arrived (when the restaurant was empty) and then slowed considerably during the meal (as the restaurant filled). We were left sitting for half an hour at a time whilst waiting for staff. The food itself was average and were it not part of a deal, I think it would have been overpriced.

Great little find, we had chicken caeser salad and seared tuna Niçoise salad. Great drinks. Great service. Sometimes the little finds are the best.
