“Smashing Weekend in Ludlow”
Reviewed 26 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Well equipped comfortable house. Good central heating which kept us warm on a cold weekend. At the behest of my son in law we sampled a few local ales. In Ludlow itself the Queens, Church Inn, and Charlton Arms were all good. further afield the Three Tuns at Bishops Castle has excellent beer (brewed next door) and food. We also found a great pub called the Allnations just opposite the Blist Hill Museum in Ironbridge. For those for whom there are other priorities we liked the Market and Castle in Ludlow and the Ironbridge itself.

“Lovely and well-equipped house in a beautiful town”

Definitely recommended. Everything with the house was fine and the small secluded garden with outdoor dining was a real bonus, given the excellent weather that we were fortunate enough to enjoy. Very handy for all that Ludlow town has to offer but also very accessible for my morning runs out into the Shropshire countryside.

“Beautiful house in fantastic location”
Reviewed 7 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We stayed here as a family of 4 and had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was clean and tidy, and we had plenty of space and perfect facilities for a family. We particularly appreciated having WIFI, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

We hardly needed to use the car all week because the house is in a perfect location to walk into Ludlow town, where there are markets, various shops and places to eat. The local supermarket (walking distance) is open until 11pm every day and has a good stock of supplies. There are good countryside walks within walking distance from the house too, and details of local things to do and places to walk are all provided in the house.

On the wet day the children enjoyed a swim at the local sports centre (a couple of miles away), which has a large flume into the pool and a separate gym and spa.

We would definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay.
