“Absolutely fantastic property to stay with all ages.”

The property and grounds are maintained to a high standard. The caretaker, Emma, lives in the grounds with her family, who are helpful, friendly and make you so welcome. Even when our shop online let us down, she came to the rescue with a desert for the five teenagers that we had brought with us.
The location is a good base for the local area, that is if you want to go out.

“Amazing place”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

One week was not enough to fully enjoy all the ground and the area of Ludlow. However we did our best !!

The house was amazing, spacious, clean, well maintained and had a great homely feel. The adults could relax and there was still plenty of room for the children to play hide and seek and the pool table went down a treat with both adults and children. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with more than enough space in the dinning room.

The ground also amazing, the children loved the play area and spent lots of time playing hide and seek (could take up to an hour to find them) The grounds are safe and secure so not worries about them being out without an adult. The tennis and golf was also a bonus for the adults as well, although we did not last as long as the children.

There is something for every age here (our family ranged from 6 years to 83 years) My mum loved the gardens and could sit by the golf/tennis court and watch everyone, she also enjoyed sitting in some of the beautiful spots around the grounds on her own with a coffee and the paper.

Emma informed us of a play area and river in Ludlow where the children could paddle and fish, this was a great day out, not to be missed if you have children with you. Although it is a beautiful place for adults to (great cafe). Ludlow town is certainly worth dragging yourself away from the house for the day. it has some lovely little shops and great eating places. There is also a Tesco's in the town so five minute drive to pick up anything you have forgotten

Our family take a holiday like this every year and I would not hesitate to go back to this house. Emma was very helpful and informative.

Thanks for a great holiday

We all had an amazing time. The wonderful house and grounds catered for all ages, and Emma and Chris were so friendly and helpful. The holiday exceeded our expectations, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to our next visit.

The Manor House is beautifully situated in its own extensive grounds. It is spacious, comfortable and always immaculately prepared when we arrive. It is within easy reach of Ludlow and the surrounding countryside is lovely.

“Fabulously grand country home, yet cosy and comfortable with beautiful surrounding grounds”
Reviewed 30 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The Manor House looked great on the web… but it was even better when we got there! :-)
It was more spacious than I was expecting from the pictures we had seen, yet the house had a wonderfully comfortable, cosy and homely feel to it.
Inside - the house was clean, furniture unworn and amenities modern and very efficient, but everything was nicely still in keeping with the house.
Outside - the ground's gardens and activity areas were beautifully kept and well thought out.
The Manor House was perfect for our surprise family and friends get together weekend :-)
Both Jo (initial contact when booking) and Emma (House Manager) were very helpful, friendly and efficient in all correspondence we had via email and in person.
All of our family and friends thought the place was fabulous and we would all definitely recommend a stay at The Manor House :-)

Liked best: Tasteful decor with a really cosy, homely feel considering it is a very spacious house and beautiful gardens
Liked least: Bedroom layout is more for families with young children because of through room access. Only one wooden!
