I have just stayed for a week, never again. Should have got the measure when I pulled up into the builders yard of a car park. Booked in reception first forgot to hand me the key then forgot to tell me the room. The room was old and tired, faded eiderdown on the bed, stained carpets, couldn't open the door to the bathroom as the bed was in the way. Shower stopped half way through a shower every day. Breakfast looked great tasted off and cold. Breakfast very limited and poor layout i.e. Jam on your table but you had to fetch the butter. Cup on your table but had to take up with you to fetch tea or coffee. Also as others said stinks of cigarette smoke. Just madness.

Room Tip: Different Hotel

It's okay. Nothing more than that. It took me 30 minutes to wash the bird crap off my car because the car park is not designed to be a car park but a forest. Really helpful chap allowed me access to the kitchen so I could use all that I needed to remove said detritus. I didn't eat breakfast that morning.

Booked for this hotel but ended up in the adjacent place. I liked the Spanish fellow.

Only out of necessity ....

Stayed in a single room, bedding clean but room tired and needs a good clean and decorating stains on carpet were people have spilt tea coffee etc. Shower really badly lime scaled so water only dribbled out when it got hot after waiting for 15mins was not happy. Breakfast included in price but only had toast as poor variety of cereal's and did not fancy a cooked breakfast but not offered an alterternative. Not worth the money and will not be going back.

Travelled from hotel booked by me turned out to be v good, this hotel booked by wife disappointing-she felt let down. These two trips part of 46th wedding anniversary treat to each other. Little things add up to be annoying. No tea/coffee-went found staff who said it was in cupboard-said had found tray of cups, sugar and kettle but no tea/coffee-right that came up to us. Chased for more than 3 thin pillows between us. Carpet grubby & stained. Mattress hard/lumpy. No hooks for towels in bathroom. Knobs missing on shower doors. Toilet seat crooked/flushing awkward. Breakfast wife asked for white bread got brown like me. I said no egg, got egg. No teaspoons. Wouldn't go back

The room was OK in that it was clean. However, it smelt of stale smoke or damp or a mixture of the two. There was a clue in that on the unmanned reception desk, there was a empty can of air freshener.

We could not even open the window as the heating system was not working.

Room Tip: Dont go if you have a sense of smell..
