“Lovely hosts of a quaint, romantic and comfortable cottage rental.”
Reviewed 28 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This cottage has so many positive things about it. Attractive and spacious bedrooms, antique furniture but comfortable beds, lovely garden, washer and dryer, and hospitable hosts who enjoy their guests. The village is charming--just as you would imagine an English village to be with a butcher, a baker and a coffee shop nearly next door.
Thanks to Ian and Georgina for a very happy week.

“Perfect getaway”
Reviewed 26 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My husband, son, and I stayed for a week at the Barn and we loved it from the minute we walked in. The owners gave us a little history of the place and it's hard to believe a stable could be converted to a comfortable home! There is a kitchen with pots and pans for cooking when you get tired of eating out, laundry facilities including a drying rack (we had been away from home for a week already), and everything else you might need in walking distance (bakery, grocery, take-out and restraunts, pub, bus stop) It is also close to a park n ride for access to London and Oxford.

“Petfect”
Reviewed 25 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My family visited for a week and had a wonderfully English experience in this village cottage. Easy transportation, nearby services, and fully appointed home made it perfect. The hosts are kind, available, and friendly. Definitely recommended and I will undoubtedly use it again if it's available.

“Great "Barn", perfect hosts, wonderful town”

Ian and Georgina were wonderful hosts. Wheatley is a gorgeous little town with several places to eat and a co-op just one block from the house. The garden was the perfect English garden. As others have said, wifi was a bit spotty but you aren't in Wheatley for Facebook checking anyway. All you needed to do to get wifi was sit in the living room.

We used this place as our base station for day trips around to Oxford and many of the little towns around. It was perfect.

I would particularly recommend the fish and chips shop and the bakery in the town,

“Love the Barn”
Reviewed 2 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Ian and Georgina were wonderful hosts. Wheatley is a georgeous little place and the Barn had everything we needed. Really grateful for the large washer, dryer and dishwasher. Cost Cutters was just across the road for emergency groceries and restaurants, pub and bakery within 20 metres.
