A lovely place to visit in the middle of Oxford.
Beautiful plants, shrubs and water features, right on the river.
We were lucky with the weather and so took a picnic and sat by the water.
Tea/coffee was available from a van.
Toilets on site.
Did my visit the glasshouses, will save that for next time.

Called by with friends on a sunny day, spent a good hour walking around the gardens and the glasshouses (which were the more interesting). If you like plants or are a botanist then it would be more interesting but overall we weren’t overwhelmed and needed a cafe to sit down in after walking around for an hour.

Recently l visited the gardens here and you will find a wide range of interesting and beautiful plants throughout the site. I enjoyed wandering around the many glass houses here and l found the exotic section very interesting. If you are visiting Oxford, l would highly recommend a trip here.

Such a lovely place to visit for a few hours.
Plenty of glass houses to look in and lots of areas to walk around.
Its suitable for pushchairs as it has wide paths everywhere.
Perfect on a nice day for a picnic
There's a small drinks van inside too whats cute I had a lovely hot chocolate, they do sell snacks also.
We sat on the benches next to the fountain in the middle and it was so relaxing listening to the water.
Would love to come back.

The botanic garden’s are not large but certainly worth visiting. The plant collection is well documented and the uses of plants very clearly labelled. There are some unusual specimens in the glasshouses.
