Had lovely drinks at the new Kellogg Hub on Friday afternoon. Served efficiently by the attentive staff that afternoon.
We were not prepared for what we saw on Saturday morning. An unsupervised, apparently lazy, member of staff is potentially putting the health of all users at risk if they use any of the condiments, or cruet sets, on the table.
Why move the sugar sachets, and cruet set, to clean the table when you can spray over everything on the table and wipe the table where it lands? We watched in horror as this male dark haired member of staff did this on all tables but those where we were seated.
Table cleaning spray landed on all sugar sachets, and cruet sets, on every table.
The spray appeared to be absorbed by the sugar sachets, and the cruet sets, as it flowed down into the contents.
I have never seen so poor observance of food handing, even at greasy spoons. Surely this person can't be a member of staff or is the new hub a downmarket version of Kellogg complete with uneven sponsors boards and slanted lettering?
This is potentially putting the health of all users at risk and this man does not appear to have the level of skill sets to work in catering anywhere.
Speed of service very slow on Sunday too and with different staff. Shambolic start to the hub.
All users need to be told if the staff are supposed to be up and running when it opens rather than ambling in and getting started 1 hour after it is due to start.
Visitors staying at no 12 asked if there was anywhere nearby to eat after they had waited over an hour for food on both days. They won't be back.
Apparently a year 7 has photocopied the same articles of Michie and put them in frames at the entrance in no 12 or is this the same person who signed off the interior work in the hub and chose the Saturday and Sunday hub staff?
