This is a nice 'sushi inspired' restaurant, I say 'sushi inspired' as, in the past a Japanese once told me that only the Japanese know how to do sushi properly.
Stick'n'sushi is a sushi restaurant chain, originating in Copenhagen, Denmark, 24 years ago. The Oxford restaurant is situated on the top floor terrace, on the new West Gate shopping complex, with panoramic views over the historic spires of Oxford. However, on the day we visited, the spring weather of a light drizzle made the indoor seating welcome.
The staff direct you to a table where you are presented with a menu and you guided, discreetly and knowledgably, through the whole sushi experience.
On the whole a delightful and tasty break from the shopping experience.
