Came here for Valentine’s. day. All the ladies got a rose and a jar of homemade chutney to take home which was a lovely touch. Food was amazing and great value - 3 courses and glass of Prosecco plus a bottle of wine for very cheap.
The staff was very kind and patient and let us eat until one hour after the closing time.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Situated in a basement area on Broad Street, Hockley. The restaurant area is rather uninspiring and could do with a makeover to bring it up-to-date and make it more warm and inviting.

This restaurant appears to be a family run establishment. They seem like very nice people and the service is fine, but it's all a little bit amateurish. The food is fine also, just not very exciting or inspiring.

This place could be so much more!

Came here for Valentine’s. Surprised that it was nearly empty. All the ladies got a rose and a jar of homemade chutney to take home which was a lovely touch. Food was amazing and great value - 3 courses and glass of prosecco plus a beer each for £60. However the waitress was a bit impersonal and didn’t ask how our meal was, if we needed anything, or even tell us which meal was which! Maybe she was new. Also the heating got turned off and it was freezing! Everyone has their coats on. Other than that, very good.

Went with the wife’s family on a Sunday evening.

First off the food is really good. Starters and mains were all really nice.

Main issue we had was that there seemed lots of dishes and drinks that were unavailable. And we only found out when we ordered and the waitress would come back and advise that they didn’t have the dish or drink. For example I ordered a mojito and the waitress came back and advised they had no Rum.

That’s some going to run out of Rum!!

Availability aside the food was great and everyone enjoyed. A few people mentioned how spicy some dishes were but they did order it so they knew what they was getting into.

Looking forward to going back to see if the availability issues were a one off.

Thank Graeme W
