Review of Cooper's Brook

Cooper's Brook
Ranked #241 of 1,369 Restaurants in Nottingham
Description: Whatever the occasion, Eating Inn is the perfect place to visit! Our menu is always packed to the brim with an array of delicious dishes. Fancy a burger? We have a great range of them… and they all come with quality brioche buns. Craving some classic pub food? We’ve got that too. As for dessert… the list is extensive! It’ll make you want to gather your friends and family to come in and enjoy the quality and great value, together. If you’re thinking of bringing the kids, we’re armed with great children’s activity packs to keep them occupied and a menu full of scrumptious food to please even the fussiest of eaters.

Lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. I had the surf and turf which was cooked to perfection. The prawns were cooked in garlic and the calamarie melted in my mouth. My partner had the New York deli burger with bbq and paprika flavoured fries - this looked delicious and he said that the burger and fries were both full of flavour and you could tell had been handmade. We were really impressed with the friendly service, the reasonable meal and drink prices and the food. Had a great experience. Would definitely recommend. We stayed in the premier inn next door which we would also recommend.

Asked for the Sunday roast but had none left so had lamb shank, not impressed was left starving, it had 3 pieces of carrots, 2 bits of broccoli with mash lamb was delicious but nowhere near enough for a grown adult. The gammon meal looked lovely even had fresh pineapple (not tinned) but I’m really not impressed with the portion size

Dear Claire,

firstly I would like that thank you for leaving us a review , we appreciate all feedback as this shows us what we are doing well and not so well.
I would like to apologise firstly that you couldn't have a Sunday roast , due to such a high demand we often sell out of these very quickly and we advise guests to book early to ensure the chance of trying one of our amazing roast dinners. In regards to your lamb shank meal the portion sizes of the vegetables are a smaller portion due to the meal being quite filling ( from guest feedback) however if you do come back to us please don't hesitate to ask a member of staff for some extra Vegetables. Also I would like to ask which gammon you had whether it was the one from our Value Menu or off the Regular Eating inn Menu ? Any further questions or queries you may have please email me at 6383@greeneking.co.uk

Kind Regards
