Having waited 10 minutes to be served at the counter where three girls stood around until told to clear tables, I ordered a tuna sandwich to take away. There was nowhere to sit but I was happy to sit in my car and eat before enjoying my walk.
The lady wandered around the seating area while I tried to attract her attention and collect my take away sandwich. Eventually I explained that it was mine to take away so she then got a bag and slid it from the plate and into the bag where it all fell apart! The tuna was sparse and poor quality.
The staff just need to communicate with each other and be part of the same team. I also observed a staff member helping himself to some food whilst preparing a roll in the preparation area. All in all a poor experience in what could be a great place to eat before enjoying the wonderful walks and wildlife.
