We stayed at the Glenora for 2 nights over Easter weekend as we were down from Scotland for the national Scooter rally being held in the town. I booked this guest house months ago and am so glad I did. What a lovely place.Julia greeted us showed us to our beautiful, spotlessly clean (and I mean SPOTLESS) bedroom on the first floor which had lovely views right over to the hills. A lovely en-suite with shower and toiletries supplied, a comfy bed, pillows, warm quilt and great big fluffy towels just made everything complete. Breakfast was great, your choice from porridge, kippers, fresh fruit salad, cereals, full English breakfast, with your choice of egg, fruit juices and freshly made coffee and tea. Fabulous. Julia and Paul couldn't do enough for us and were so welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay and we'll be back soon. Also the onsite parking was a bonus. It's only a 10 minute walk downhill to the town centre but there's a bus stop right outside which can get you down in minutes.

Room tip: I would imagine the rooms are all of the same high standard as the one we stayed in.

Had a fabulous two night break at this very friendly B&B. Owners Julia and Paul were very welcoming.
Breakfast cooked to order was very tasty.
We introduced them to the Steampunk genre and I think they both, especially Paul loved it.
Bit of a cliche here, but, we arrived as strangers, but left as friends. This will be our go to stay whenever we are in Whitby.

The hotel is 10 minutes from town centre. Lovely friendly welcome from Julie and Paul. The room was really nice and the breakfast excellent. Would recommend this guesthouse without hesitation. Couldn't do enough for us.

Have stayed at this guesthouse for the past three years and on our last visit (we just returned home today) we were initially disappointed to note the guesthouse had new owners. I say initially because within minutes we warmed to the new owners Paul and Julia and felt immediately at ease. They were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms, as usual, were clean and comfortable. Breakfast still had a great choice and was very well presented. We had an amazing weekend and Paul and Julia were so nice. We met as strangers but left feeling more like friends. I wouldn't hesitate in returning again.
