I rented this house for myself and four work colleagues who were staying in Norwich for a week. The owner Keith is very friendly and helpful. We were left a delicious carrot cake, biscuits and croissants for breakfast which was much appreciated. The accommodation is simple and stylish without being cluttered, it is also very comfortable. The kitchen and dining are a good size and come well equipped including washing machine and dishwasher. The living room sofas are huge and comfortable, the TV has recently been upgraded to a large HD screen. The upstairs bathroom is large with a proper bath and downstairs is a smaller shower room.
The location of the house is perfect for central Norwich and is within a 10 minute walk to the city centre. There is a parking space at the back of the house. Norwich has a variety of brilliant independent pubs and restaurants. We has a such a good time it felt more like a mini-holiday rather than work.
I chose this apartment for a week in East Anglia with two mature adult friends -- access to central Norwich and enough bedrooms and baths were my top criteria. Walking distance to the cathedral, other sites, and shopping was excellent and we couldn't have been happier. The apartment has three bedrooms and a full bathroom on the top floor and one small bedroom at ground level, as well as a bathroom with shower -- which was important to one person with limited mobility.
The kitchen/dining area was also important to the chef among us, and a pleasant space to hang out. The hosts had left a carrot cake and assorted other goodies (crisps, cookies), which we appreciated.
The downsides of the apartment included the living room, which had couches not suitable for mature adults; we therefore spent almost no time in that space and would suggest upgrading that furniture as a 3-5 person group would probably want to use the room. The carpeting too needed replacement. The small bed on the ground floor collapsed (flimsy slats under the mattress), and the power went out one day. Happily, the owner was very responsive and came to fix both problems promptly.
Overall, we were quite satisfied because the location and space were what we needed, though I would not consider it a "luxury" property (I've stayed in many many vacation rentals). We didn't have a car, but I gather parking space is a major selling point for other travelers.
Perfect townhouse is great position in Norwich, very clean. We loved the homemade cake left for us on arrival. Extremely well equipped and clean kitchen. We’ll definitely return.
We enjoyed our week in the flat --- kitchen well-equipped, bathrooms nicely modernised. Comfortable living room. Short walks to everything we wanted to see. We'd happily return !
