I sang this hotel's praises last September but on my recent return I was disappointed and felt that the place is falling apart.
Check in was smooth, friendly and efficient - Good Point
Room was clean, spacious with a comfortable bed - Good Point
Got two good night's sleep - Good Point
Breakfast was good on Day 1 - Good Point
Had to get room key reprogrammed three times as it only let me in once but not a second time - POOR.
Room TV remote had no battery cover - POOR.
Dropped TV remote and lost a battery in the room, consequently no TV - POOR.
Cooked Breakfast at 0700 on Day 2 was non-existent - POOR.
Hope things improve before my next business trip there next year, but I'm not exactly holding my breath.
Obviously a good example of how a good hotel can turn into a mediocre one in under nine months
