I visit London often and on this occasion the usual hotels were full and I took a chance booking 46C Station Road apartment. As I walked up the street I knew I had made a mistake and I would have been better going into the Samaritans next door. I was met with a friendly lady and her son who had obviously just finished school for the day, when she opened the house door the smell was strong throughout and the stains on the dirty carpet were dreadful. I played the game went up looked at the apartment which was basic and smelly with awful bedding I was then asked for £100 deposit incase I broke something, I can assure you nothing in the apartment was worth £100!
I paid she left and I left 10 minutes later and travelled to another more acceptable hotel.
If it was extremely cheap I would understand but it isn't. I could not hand on heart recommend staying here. I did get my £100 deposit back!
