The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. It was a great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. We very much enjoyed the location. The weather was chilly and so the windows were closed and we were never bothered by noise. We liked being at the Seven Dials and enjoyed the vibe of the area. Thank you, Ben, for such an enjoyable stay!

Yes, this apartment is very conveniently located to the theatre district, museums and galleries; access by walking to many attractions is very easy. The elevator is a plus for travelers with bags; the kitchen is fairly well equipped (although the smoke detector didn't like the smell of toast!). The apartment is small but adequate for two people staying for several days, but probably would not be suitable for a long-term stay.
However, our check-in was anything but stress free. Wet sheets, bedding and towels hung in the one and only closet in the bedroom. We had to move these wet items to hang on the shower curtain rod in the bathroom and waited 48 hours for these items to fully dry. Evidently the washer/dryer combo machine could not handle at least the drying portion of its task! When we complained to the owner, we were told our "early" arrival was the complicating factor, but as we had pre-agreed an arrival 2 hours early, its hard to see this as a major factor in delaying the drying of the sheets, bedding and towels!
A second issue was the definition of a "king-size bed". What is available is not a "king-size" as is understood in the US; it was basically a double bed. The owner assured me that this was the UK definition of a king-size bed, but later in our travels in England we stayed in 3 different hotels where a real "king-size" bed was available. Clearly there are other people in the UK who have a different definition of "king-size" then this apartment's owner! I think Trip Advisor needs to clarify what "king-size" is by its listing agents to avoid this kind of confusion in the future.
The bedroom was lacking in bedside tables to put stuff at night (e.g., my glasses, clock, antacid pills!), and the one chest of drawers in the room needed cleaning out before we could put our clothes away for our week's stay.
Lastly, be cautious in the shower as the water is either scalding hot or cold; finding the right balance requires a very sensitive touch!
We have rented about 10 apartments and homes over the past few years when travelling in Europe, and this is the first time we have had these types of complaints. The rental appears to be new to the market (listed since February 2016). Frankly, this apartment is not ready for prime time and we would not recommend it as is.
