Off to the Forum looking for somewhere nearby, came across this place on TA.

Really friendly welcome, 6-7 special offer even better, steak and chips for 10. Steak excellent hanger steak (not the easiest to cook), chunky fries really good with decent IPA to wash it down.

Beef and Brew does the simple things really well. Thoroughly recommend it if you are in the area.

Booked into the Beef and Brew on Good Friday prior to venturing off to see a band. We booked early to allow plenty of time to get across town and there was literally one other table taken at opening time. We knew what we wanted to eat and ordered the Brisket Jam Nuggets to share as a starter and then the Chateaubriand with a side of poutine and a Zougine and a couple of beers... we were not disappointed. The Brisket Jam nuggets were out quickly and gone before they hit the table. The portion is only small but such a lovely taste and sets you up perfectly for the main event. The steaks came out and they were beautiful. Perfectly seasoned and rested, so tender and tasty, worked really well with both the poutine and zougine. The Zougine added a level of spice that was right up my street. Just over £30 a head, I thought it was good value and perfectly sized portions. As the restaurant filled up and there started to be a buzz about the place, we were out of the door and on our way. A perfect start to our evening, but certainly could have made a night of it in there, but would have booked for a little later. Cannot recommend highly enough. Love it.

Good value and a great atmosphere.
Couldn’t fault it,will definitely go back there.
Worth booking...saw lots of people get turned away on the Saturday night we were there.

Highly recommend: food delicious, delicious menu and attentive service. Hollandaise sauce is one of the tastiest I've ever had.

Good place but a table of 6 youngsters destroyed the restaurant atmosphere.
