“A perfect haven right by public transport - comfortable and well appointed”
Reviewed 12 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Wow - the place looked good from the listing, but it's even better when you're there. Three great ensuites, garden, spacious lounge, great location (even a decent corner shop).

The owner Robert was utterly charming and helpful. The house is right by Chiswick rail station, with easy access to the city via Vauxhall (Victoria line) and Waterloo. Great pubs nearby on the river. We were very happy with our stay.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
How easy was key pickup/access to the property? Overall condition of the property

Liked best: Three ensuites!
Liked least: Aircraft and train noise, but this is almost unavoidable in West London (I used to live there!)

“Great appartment in a great location.”
Reviewed 2 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had an overall wonderfull experience in this apartment. It was very clean, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the small garden is a bonus. The location is right across the street from the station, though it is also recomended to take the bus to town (Chiswick), and enjoy the many nice little shops and restaurants.
Also a short walk from to the riverside pubs.
Finally, the owners are very nice and helpful people, thanks for the hospitality tray!!

“Cousins in London”
Reviewed 14 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The house was the perfect place for us to stay for this vacation. The house itself was fully stocked with toiletries and utilities that we needed. The house had a living room/dining room that was a perfect shared space for us. It also had a laundry room with a washer and a dryer, as well as other cleaning equipment we might need, like a vacuum cleaner, a broom, a mop, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed for cooking. We were provided a wide array of pots, pans, knives, and utensils. We were even given milk, eggs, and some biscuits. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which is perfect for us. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable, but the pillows could have been fluffier, as several people in the house complained of stiff necks in the morning.

The location of the house was perfect. It was right across a bus stop and a train station, and it was a few minutes walk from a good pub. It was also a few stops away from the Chiswick High Road, which had several supermarkets and restaurants.

The generosity of the owners of the house was overwhelming and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The house was most comfortable and we had the loveliest time there. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

“Excellent. Get this before it goes!”
Reviewed 16 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

In common with previous renters, I cannot recommend this property and its proprietor too highly. We arrived early on a weekday morning (0800) and Robert had organized transport from Heathrow, met us at the property, and provided us with lovely provisions to get started with. The property is ideally situated close to Chiswick overground railway station, giving easy access to London activities. There is minor road noise which can be minimised by closing the front windows. Robert provides Oyster cards which can be easily topped up and provide a simple means of using the London Transport system. Use the E3 Bus to travel to Turnham Green for the Underground. Spring had sprung, and the weather was balmy for our visit. Local corner store very useful for provisions. All in all a Compleat Treasure. David May 2016

“Wonderful location and very comfortable stay!”

Robert was the most gracious host! From the moment of our booking to arriving in London he took care of all of our needs and questions. Could not have asked for a better accommodation either...had 3 lovely bathrooms and each had their own bathroom. This was very suitable for our needs. Robert also helped arrange a car to pick us up from the airport. Upon arriving at the home he provided us with milk, bread, eggs, cookies, candy, coffee etc. It was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated.
We were right across from the train; had taxi service there too and there was a great convenience store up the block. The fellow in the store was just the best and helped us with all of our concerns and questions.
There are also restaurants near by plus a pharmacy (which we needed).
I would not hesitate to recommend Roberts lovely abode and would stay there again if I returned to London for vacation. Thank you Robert!
