Description: "Opened by leading restaurateur Claudio Pulze in 1999, Al Duca remains one of the most popular eateries in the chic St James' area. Located between Piccadilly Circus and Green Park; this authentic Italian restaurant is ideal for business lunches, pre-theatre dinners and full-on feasts for the whole family. The interior is a comfortably stylish mix of light wood, crisp white linen and wall-mounted wine racks; while the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. Al Duca's menu features classic dishes like beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan; roasted leg of rabbit with polenta; and delicious pastas like their homemade ravioli with pheasant and rosemary. For dessert, we recommend the vanilla pannacotta with a glass of something smooth from their extensive Italian wine list. "

Always enjoy eating here, just a great friendly place, great service and great food. It is a restaurant I always feel comfortable in. Great wine list and great food....I feel pretty sad always having the same dish when I go here....Groundhog Day or what. The beef carpaccio is always excellent and the crab taglioline is just to due for....washed down with a very good Vapolicella Ripasso!

Went here for dinner with colleagues. The service was friendly and good. The food was very good and the wine reasonable - large choice.
It is family owned and clearly so.

I've been here a few times with colleagues. We've been through most of the menu options and all are good choices
There are cured meats and scallops for starters with the normsl fish / meat and pasta (which is available in 2 plates sizes) for mains. You get a lovely selection of bread as a cover when you are seated.
The wine menu has a good selection at a variety of prices.
We keep going back and that's the best recommendation.

Situated just of Jermyn St., this place is so relaxed.

I started with the scallops which I thought could have been a little more succulent. The main was the seared tuna - it was spot on! Washed down with a nice chianti (did Hannibal say that in 'Silence of the Lambs"?)

Finished with a tirimasu and desert wine. After a long day at work, a nice place to unwind.
