I have stayed several times at the Hoxton since my first review and this follow-up review is really just to confirm and comment (and show my appreciation) for the oustanding service they provide, and at such a reasonable price. The staff remain ever-friendly, helpful and courteous. This place really has a good vibe. Much the same remains, the cute breakfasts hanging from your door, the fresh milk and water, teabags and coffee in your room, the funky 'ironing' rooms. But the main thing I wanted to re-iterate after staying some 6 or 7 times here, is that the service is always friendly - and the customer service is excellent!

Checked in late, no problems. Requested a cot, and a room on a high floor - all ready and waiting.

Loved the room (small, but most importantly well planned so it was never an issue!), the DIY mini-bar (find me another London hotel with beer at £1.25 a bottle, or half bottle of wine @ £5), staff were friendly and helpful. And proper milk to go with your proper coffee (are you listening 90% of London's 5 star hotels!!).

If you need an early night at the weekend. perhaps request a high room, as let's face it Shoreditch & Old St are oh so 'hip' so you may get a bit of noise, but so often the Hoxton has such great rates, who cares? Heartily recommend the nearby Breakfast Club for decent grub if the Pret Brekky is insufficient (they provide a map in the room of the location!).

Room Tip: Higher rooms recommended at weekends.

The location is great. The restaurant food is pretty good, and the bar was nice.

The rooms are nice, but the bed was terrible. I did not get one good night sleep.

On the weekends it is really loud, and if you stay on lower floors you can hear the party going until the bar closes, which is around 2am.

Room Tip: Stay on upper floors.

Don't get to London that often but always stay at the Hoxton. We stayed over the London Marathon weekend and were delighted to see that the hotel's high standards are still being maintained. The staff are excellent throughout, the rooms clean and comfortable and the Pret breakfast is still a welcome bonus.

My husband ran in the marathon and when we got back to the hotel he needed a shower so we missed the housekeeping service. A quick visit to reception sorted this out and our room was cleaned really quickly.

Don't think this hotel could be bettered for the price anywhere in London!

The Hotel did not disappoint!

I loved the building and it's spin on urban chic. Our room was clean and well serviced, our last minute requests were fulfilled by helpful staff on the night. It provided us with the luxury and comfort we wanted without the pomp and circumstance. A hotel that can make you feel trendy and youthful at reasonable cost gets a thumbs up from me.
We will be returning.
