Visited today, a great space with the noise and intensity of central London just feet away.

Managed to get a seat on a bench to enjoy 30 minutes of relaxation.

Worth a visit if your in the area and want to pause for a bit.

Beautiful and interesting area. Famous buildings, statues and fabulous gardens. Exotic planting and immaculately maintained. Peace in the bedlam of Westminster.

With Charing Cross and Embankment stations to the west, the Savoy Hotel and Gordon’s Wine Bar to the north and the River Thames to the south, Victoria Embankment Gardens is a small but delightful piece of green space in which to sit or stroll. The gardens are always well kept and they provide a small haven from all the hustle and bustle going on around.

There’s even the Embankment Café with seating outside so you can relax with a coffee; absolutely charming!

These linear gardens, so quiet in all the Westminster bustle, have a wonderful, quirky collection of statues amongst the trees, flowers and fountains. Best in town. A park for contemplation, rich in character, excellent cafe/s and bandstand. I cannot remotely understand any criticism, unless from gross ignorance. There are e.g. no football pitches here. Small is beautiful.

We had a very refreshing walk through these gardens today. In one part a large screen tv and comfy chairs were set up for people to watch Wimbledon. The flowers were gorgeous and the water ponds were very nice! Very clean and close to the river,
