Premier Inns are a budget chain but they do it well - it was certainly a lot better than our experience of the Ibis chain.
The beds are really comfortable, the room was large - it even had a sofa. It was very clean. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over and was a bit basic but fine, although the chrome was coming off the shower curtain rail which looked bad.
The reception staff were very friendly.
It does what it does well and the 4 stars reflect that. It is in a location a bit remote from train/tram/underground and on a retail park by a main road, but that is it's nature.
It was a good hotel for a night stopover. It is obviously not a hotel for a romantic break or a special trip, but then it doesn't pretend to be!
