Myself and my better half came to Union Street Cafe for the Easter 5 course set menu on Easter Sunday. We went with the "bottomless prosecco " to accompany the meal. I don't think we've enjoyed a sunday lunch so much in a very long time!! We thoroughly enjoyed every course, the croquettes and Tagliatelle we favourites of mine but overall the whole meal was superb. The team as usual were excellent and looked after us very well ensuring we were topped up and timing everything to perfection. I was particularly grateful for the table I requested as it meant I could hear my other half better!! Thanks to eveyone at Union Street, a really lovely experience and we'll be back!

This place is immaculate. Everything was delicious, my kids love his show, so they were super excited to go (they are teens). Even if you think it’s too pricey, go have a drink in the Olive Grove. The cocktails are made with olive oil...they were AMAZING!

Expected more from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant! Me and my partner visited on good Friday and had the Easter 5 course menu and shared a bottle of wine. The bill came to £150 and we left feeling disappointed. The staff are very good and attentive it’s a shame the food lets them down. We wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone and will not be visiting again, you could spend half the bill and have a much better meal somewhere else.

Came across this restaurant on our way to the Tate Modern and booked for the way back.

We were a bit early so had a cocktail downstairs in the bar first, bartender recommended cocktails that turned out to be perfect. Had the set menu upstairs broadbean soup, beef carpaccio, egg dish - all delicious. Second course we had guinea fowl or rigatoni equally delicious. Even the bread, and the signature cocktail included in the set menu price were fantastic. We didn’t have time for dessert but a happy birthday ice cream was still presented. Drinks a little pricey but food was great value for money and the service couldn’t have been better. Some of the reviews here seem a little unfair. We loved it and will be back when next we visit the Tate.

The rating is actually unfair for the excellent kitchen, but the service was really bad!

We walked in for dinner on a Wednesday night and were welcomed and seated in a friendly manner.
However, the staff attending our table made so many mistakes that it actually became quite funny in the end: We were brought the wrong wine (understandable mistake and quickly corrected), pre-antipasties arrived together with the antipasti and were followed by the mains so quickly that we had hardly finished and the table had not been cleared. The mains were taken back to the kitchen and we were given two new sets of plates - nobody clearly knew what was going on!
All this happened in a rush that was quite unneccesary and very strange.
During dessert our cutlery was taken away and my wife had to finish her truffles with her fingers - we dared not ask for coffee!!
However, the kitchen seems to be very organised and innovative - we enjoyed every dish very much, the quality of the food is very high and deserves waiters who know what they are doing.
