My partner and I went for lunch on. Thursday afternoon without reservation, a last minute decision but what an experience.
The restaurant was buzzing but tables were available.
Of course the experience of the views of London speak for themselves, but here in the restaurant the service is great, drinks and food offered and served swiftly and every need taken care of but never overbearing.
We chose the set menu with an included Bellini and were not disappointed!
One member of staff even tweaked the plates of our starter into a different position and showed our waitress....an ongoing testimony how they strive to give the best experience.
What made this special was the attention and care of the manager. We were sat in the middle and not by a window, not unexpected as we hadn’t booked and we never considered anything different but we were promised we would be moved at an early opportunity.
We were just happy to be there, but sure enough just before dessert we were moved to a window seat to allow us to fulfil our photo opportunities!
Then came the complimentary glasses of champagne! It must be a mistake we thought, but no on our way out the manager explained he just simply wanted us to have a great experience and we had been sat at one of the middle tables without complaint.
Special touches like this just don’t happen to us and this goes to show that customer experience and service are the absolute aim here.
Our overall experience was that we were made to feel valued and special as customers and it was important to share that!
