Have eaten here many times and never disappoints.
Good, fresh food and a friendly warm welcome make a pleasant relief from the pretentiousness of some other CE establishments.
You can save your 'Brooklyn cool' and micro portions for other places.
Perhaps a little more 'meat' in the meat lasagne.
Very relaxing and reasonably priced.

We had a late lunch there on a weekend afternoon and although I was not wowed by the food, it was more than edible and fantastic value for money with the set lunch menu deal. Would go back as I really think Crouch End has very limited choices this is one of the few placed that looks inviting.

This restaurant is small and unassuming but excellent value and the food, traditional Turkish, is very good. Meze are generous, there's always bread on the table, and we've been twice recently and found the fish dishes and extras very good. There's not a fabulous choice of wine (most of it is Turkish, which isn't to everyone's taste) but there are a couple of French ones. You'll find the service quiet but kind - this lady has also organised, via email, 3 bottles of ice-cold Prosecco to be delivered to a table for a birthday party I couldn't make, and even sent me pictures of the bottles. Nice people who deserve their success. If you want somewhere good value and unpretentious, go!

If you like your breakfasts a bit different then this is the place for you. It does good traditional fry ups but it's Turkish inspired breakfasts with spinach haloumi mushrooms etc are great. They also do a very good value two course lunch with lots of choice.
