“Stylish hotel but too expensive”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

I staid at the setter which is a really stylish hotel which is build in a storage. I had a corner room with a great view towards old parts of london. The room was nice, large and well equipped. The bathroom is tiny but fits for purpose, clean and fine. The restaurant is nice, the hotel is very international and had very friendly service staff. the 256GBP was too expensive for the hotel. Unfortunately the shocolade on the room had passed the expiry date by far.

Room Tip: Corner room on a higher floor (4 plus)

Dear DWGermany,
I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and the friendliness of our team members. I was also delighted that you liked the restaurant and the room but disappointed that an item from our in room honesty bar was out of date and I do apologise for that. Being a unique conversion from working warehouse to boutique hotel, some of our room sizes vary within “type”, but we always strive to give our guests value for money with rates starting only at £185.00 inc VAT and we include a gift of a cooked breakfast from our fantastic a la carte menu, tea/coffee or juice for those who book direct. We want all our guests to enjoy a great all-round Zetter experience! I hope you will stay at The Zetter again soon.
In the meantime best regards,
Raquel Gallego

My husband and I stayed here on valentines evening as a special treat. This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are well appointed and clean. They aren't quite as luxurious as other hotels we have stayed in charging a similar price, for instance the Dean Street Townhouse. The front of house staff were excellent and very friendly. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was lovely and the location is great for exploring central and east London. There is nothing obviously wrong with this hotel but I think a little overpriced compared to the other options nearby, e.g. the Hoxton Hotel which i feel is of a similar standard but much cheaper.

Enjoyed everything about our stay here - the location, surrounding bars and restaraunts, very helpful staff, great breakfast in a great setting (book directly via the hotel´s website to make sure you get the free breakfast!), cool design, clean and comfortable. For the price to quality ration one of the best hotels in London.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Zetter Hotel for a few days and really enjoyed my time there. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet, comfortable and quite large - which surprised me since my room faced onto a main street! The front desk staff were friendly and very accommodating. I really can't find anything wrong with this place - its close to the underground as well as some nice restaurants in the vicinity. I'll definitely stay at this place again!
