This location is amazing - next to the park and easy tube access. Very clean, old style London Towne living. Nothing fancy but great value for a family (so difficult to find rooms for more than two in the UK!) It was a hot summer but we had a great breeze from our window, and a fan in the room. Nice breakfast provided with plenty of choices. Be aware: there are MANY stairs, but we love the exercise! The manager was very nice and helpful in advising us about local restaurants etc. We had some excellent walks in the area.

Room Tip: We went for the high floor so we could look out - the view is urban, but great London feel.

Rooms good with a TV ((although it has A LOT of adult channels- don't let your kids loose with it!)) with more than enough storage space - a wardrobe and drawers etc. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The shower is a bit complicated to work out but once you know it you can use it. Everything works and they refill the tea and coffee and sugar in the room, empty the bags and related do the beds while you are out enjoying the city. The door of the bathroom is loud and the light switches easily get confusing !! But overall it's a good room. The breakfast is down in the basement ((not as bad as it sounds! It's actually really nice down there and there's a chandelier)) there's a wife range of food however some of the crumpets weren't cooked and the egg on toast was cold but the rest was nice! There's a dance in the basement on an evening - we haven't been yet might go tonight - and there is signal throughout the building even in the basement! There are two wifis which are temperamental si it's best to just stick with 3G or 4G as much as you can haha. The Paddington tube is between a 2 and 5 minute walk away. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Great location and the staff was indeed very nice and helpful, however I have stayed in better hotels of the same category for about the same price, and in the same location, so maybe that was why I didn’t like my staying very much.
Our room was on the 5th floor with no elevator! The bathroom was tiny. A big person would not have been able to use the bathroom, something the hotel should warn their guests about. And you had to choose between very hot or very cold water to shower. There seemed to be no in-between. Apart from that the room was nice and very clean.
I also didn't enjoy breakfast. There was a lot of options especially of cakes and sweets but for same reason I think a more simple eggs and toast would work better.

Room Tip: Big people should be careful because at least our bathroom was very tiny. No elevator so try to get...

Stayed here to allow us to go to a concert in Hyde Park. more than ideal location! Hotel is a little tired, but very very clean. Breakfast is a little quirky, no full english here! but more than adequate. Staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Bed was comfy ensuring a good nights sleep. Would I stay here again? YES

We spent 3 nights at Piccolino Hotel and we would stay there again. It's strategically located between Paddington Station and Hyde Park at a few walking minutes from pubs, restaurants and shops. We booked a room for 4 guests and got a very comfortable one, nicely decorated and clean. Not huge indeed but not too small either. The bathroom was comfortable and clean too.
The staff was really friendly. No real English breakfast was included in the price, but you could eat a quantity of anything else. Fresh made toast was available upon request. Wi-fi was free and worked well.
