Very popular at all times of the day but l prefer early mornings, riverside running route or venture into the park and use the exercise stations.

We visited the park as was staying across the road at Pestana Chelsea bridge. And oh how beautiful this park is! And so much here. Large open spaces, a children's zoo, boating lake with licenced fishing. A go ape, athletics track, tennis courts and so much more.
Opens at 6.30 and closes late at night. Has arena area too for concerts etc.
4 main gates at each corner, 2 car parks. Cafe and burger van.
Spectacular view over the Thames as it runs parallel to chelsea hospital, Chelsea pensioners housing and Chelsea psychic garden.
We actually heard the birds singing in the morning from our hotel! Perfect!

Battersea is my favourite park in London. Its big, beautiful and has a lot less tourist then the other typical parks. This park is great for dogs and children as no cars, playgrounds, ponds and a kid zoo!

The Pear Tree cafe in side is also lovely with lots of fresh foods.

safe - but watch out for her cyclistes, best keep on the pavements in the low light and commuting times. Beautiful - really beautiful. Busy, but at a human level and full of activities. Make time to sit and read or watch. THANK YOU to the city planners who created and protect these green lungs.
