The Fox Club is a private members club in Mayfair but they are open to the public for room bookings though they have different rates for members.

The service is fantastic as all the staff are always lovely and friendly. They are so welcoming, you don't feel you're actually in a hotel!

The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are pretty huge for a small little boutique hotel like the Fox Club. The decor is quintessentially English.

Their G&Ts are pretty rocking too and it's always nice not having to 'go back' after a couple at the bar. Make sure you get some G&Ts as your night cap at the bar downstairs.

I liked rooms 5&6 but some times, the climb up the stairs can be a killer (especially after those G&Ts!)

Highly recommend this to anyone in the city looking for a cute place to crash.

Love love love.

We were right at the top of the townhouse. The room was pleasant and clean. Unfortunately the air con was not working but the staff were most apologetic and dealt well with the situation.
Every one working at The Fox Club was charming.

I stumbled across this place when searching for a crash pad near my office and I was blown away. Tucked away in a side street just off Piccadilly and a few minutes walk from Green Park tube station, this is a gem of a place.

I was in room 2 on the first floor. The staff were very pleasant and happy to help with any issues.

My room was gorgeous, the bed was one of the most comfortable I had been in for a long time and the linens were crisp and bright white. The suite was immaculate and the décor tasteful with the original fireplace being a favourite feature of mine.

Both the room and bathroom were very spacious, I felt more like I was in an apartment for the evening. The small lounge area was great for relaxing aswell. I will most definitely return

Stayed here one Saturday night and got a very good late deal.
We weren't sure what to expect but were very impressed with what we found on check in: well furnished sizeable room with comfortable bed and air conditioning, which was required on a 30 degree plus London summer's day. The room also had a decent size bathroom with bath/shower.
The hotel, which as the name suggests, is also a private members' club, has a great location just off Piccadilly and opposite Green Park though Clarges Street is currently having some major redevelopment work (possibly almost finished) and might be quite noisy during the week.
The hotel was extremely quiet when we arrived but when we came back from dinner, it was a little alarming to find the bar below our room a lot busier, with some pretty loud (what sounded like techno) music on. We did telephone down to ask when it would stop and, although it was turned down a little, it was indicated that as a members' club, if members were in and asked for music, it couldn't be switched off. It wasn't therefore the best night's sleep.
However, staff throughout our stay were friendly and helpful, though it wasn't ideal to have to leave the key with them each time one of us went out and then buzz the door to be let back in.
Definitely a good place to stay, deserving of a four plus rating, if it had just been a little quieter (we did discover ear plugs in one of the bedside drawers in the morning!).

Looking to avoid the astonishingly high prices of the big hotels, but also wanting reasonable quality and comfort. A very 'homey' kind of place with very unstuffy rules and regulations normally experienced at the high end establishments. We initially had a room which was in a basement and although perfectly acceptable regarding space and cleanliness, was a little gloomy and the underground could be heard underneath us! However, we looked at their other rooms and chose one higher up which suited us perfectly, very spacious, very quiet and the amenities in the room were perfect. Yes the fabric of the building was a little worn, but the facilities were fine and we will return. The position off Piccadilly was perfect and the welcome was too. Late night drinks served on our return from a night out, were easily taken up to our room. I would definitely recommend if you want a small, private, accessible place and don't mind the lack of black tie silver service treatment, nice as that is, sometimes you just want a comfortable bed to drop into.

Room Tip: choose a room above the ground floor
