Arrived just after 1pm to pick up the key at agreed place and found the apartment at first try. It is worth a mention that the owner supplied a pdf containing a very good description of where to find it, including a few other tips.

The property is a two storey basic apartment that contains everything you need. The kitchen is full size, loungeroom is perfectly fine and the bedrooms are quite big - especially the main bedroom.

There is a toilet and seperate bathroom with bathtub/shower in one. The owner warned us that the water preassure is not the best due to the London infratsturcture, but was pleased to find it was not as bad as the impression given.

The apartment is of age, but is perfectly livable and has all you need. If you are travelling with a teenager, you can easily plonk him / her in front of the TV to surf the some 200 channels available while you go exploring this great city... something that brings me to the location of the property...

Being in Kennington, most attractions are accessible using the tube without the need to change lines. Kennington underground station is a short walk, Vauxhall is just down the road and access to 159 is just on the other side of the street. We found getting to and from everywhere we wanted was very easy, so top marks for the Kennington as a good starting location.

Tesco is accross the street and you should try the local pub (The Pilgrim).

In summary, everything is there, location is perfectly fine, the apartment is getting of age and the price asked is on the very reasonable side.

The service provided by the host is in need of some extra attention!!!! He is such an easy person to deal with and extremely helpful. A+++.
