Owner description: There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

Went here during the Easter holiday with my 4 year old daughter, I thought it was going to be really busy but the space in the zoo was big enough so nothing was fully too busy so you could enjoy the animals and the lovely playgrounds they have inside. My daughter absolutely loved the monkeys and the meerkats especially the little tunnel you could climb down and pop your head up to see them!
She also loved the sand play area the most out of all the playgrounds offered there. There’s a nice little gift shop, plenty to do and see in the zoo, little ones will be entertained for a nice amount of time. Lots of areas to wash hands and toilets around which is helpful, and nice amount of space to eat lunch.
My little one didn’t want to leave! Not a bad price to enter either so we would definitely recommend

Our son liked it, we were there for easter, with another couple and their three year old. It looked like running around was the most fun. The monkeys didn´t appear due to the rain, so in that sense it did not deliver.

Visited with my wife and 2 year old on a fine day in March.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a good day out with family, especially those of you struggling to find ways to entertain your kids every weekend.

The place was extremely well kept and the animals looked happy, healthy and well cared for.

Plenty of space for the kids to see all the animals although I could imagine it being far busier and more difficult to enjoy during summer holidays. There are also lots of playground activities to tire the little ones out!

Simple cafe for all your lunch needs and the facilities were cleaner and better presented than some offices I’ve been to.

I will definitely be returning!

A brilliant place which can be covered in an hour right near the entrance of Battersea Park. It houses mainly smaller animals and the staff are extremely friendly & brilliant at interacting with children. We came with our 3 year old daughter who watched the geese being bathed & having their medicine, watching the donkeys and ponies having their dinner and even got to stroke a rabbit and a guinea pig. It was cold & nearly closing time when we came but it didn't detract and I thought it was great value for money compared to some of the more expensive animal attractions in & around London

Popped in here while at the park to see what they had.
Nice little zoo with smaller petting animals and a few larger ones.
Play area and activity room.
Only problem was we went after it had been raining and it's extremely muddy and full of huge puddles. Better walkways needed to get about safely or without soaking your feet and ankles!!
Didn't need long but I'm sure a good few hours with the children would make a perfect little trip out.
