Booked by internet to stay at the Harlingford. They took payment for the four nights on arrival. Our rooms were below ground level and we didn't have a problem with this until we tried to sleep. The underground trains are relentless and they sound as if they are going right through your room. When we questioned staff about this they informed us that it was our fault as it states that the rooms were noisy on trip advisor. I was unable to find any reference to noise on this site although I didn't read every post. These rooms are full price and no discount was offered. This has spoilt our London experience as we have been very tired.

Room Tip: Check to find out if rooms are noisy

I stayed here with my eighteen year old daughter. I was very impressed, clean, central and inexpensive. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days while in London. While the room and bathroom were small, it was very clean, well kept and in a great location to the city. The staff was very inviting and the breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Was already excited to be booked here after reading the previous reviews, and now feel compelled to urge people to stay at this hotel! The service, room, breakfast, EVERYTHING, was just ideal.
Stayed in a twin room for one night for an audition, and it did everything that could be asked for it, and more. The room was a good size, had a great view of the gardens out front and most importantly, it was clean (a horrid rarity in London). The staff don't fuss over you, and with the constant chaos of London, that was a nice relief. The breakfast went above and beyond, catering to everything. As a vegetarian I didn't feel restricted for options, if anything I was spoilt for choice.
Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Nice clean place near the university, in Bloomsbury. Nice and close to things, but not too close that you feel crowded. The rooms were big enough and quiet. The nicest surprise was how great the breakfast was! Didn't expect much in London, but it was wonderful. The lounge was a nice place to hang out as well!
