Went here with my girlfriend after walkin past now and then when commuting to work. Very impressed, small little place but good service, the starters were very good, humus and Persian bread and Domla.
I indulged in a yogurt and mint Persian drink...very good stuff and half a jug ( the jugs are like tall carafe and it does you for about 5 glasses.
The mains, sea bass for my girlfriend which was lovely and I had a sort of mixed lamb and chicken kebab with a salad and rice, delish.
Bill came to under £40 that's including a mini bottle of Presseco.
The sea bass had a few too many bones for my girlfriend's liking,,,but a very good find and will visit again in the future

A short walk from Lee station is this delightful small Persian restaurant. A good menu and wine list, it offers value for money. We had hoomus. Delicious chicken and salad. Baklava. And olives to die for. Service is good and friendly. Recommended.

Whilst unpretentious, the owners obviously take a justifiable pride in their restaurant.
Unusually, we were tempted by starters which were delicious along with warm bread.
For mains, the chicken in rice with berries was fabulous as we the kebabs lamb chunks. Both were surprisingly moist and succulent which I suspect was partly down to the marinade.
Having got that far, it would have been churlish to have declined desserts despite not having a particular taste for very sweet dishes, so we went for the home made saffron ice cream. Oh boy, what a treat!
The bill for both of us including a couple of drinks and food of exceptional quality quality came to just over £50, representing great value for money.
Service was friendly, helpful and warm. Definitely a bit of a find.

This place is unassuming but tasty and perfectly cooked meat kebabs and mixed grill. The rice is very good. Service can be slow but that is what good cooking is.
Have the tea which comes on its own stove. Tastes better with sugar!
If you are lucky the belly dancer will be in!
Defn one of our favourite places.

We had a lovely evening at the Caspian. It was recommended by an Iranian friend.
Moist, tender lamb and chicken... yummy! So fresh. Definitely going back.
My six year old loved it too!
