It is a disgrace to call this Italian food. Sauces thickened with flour to resemble gravy. Badly cooked pasta and raviolis that any home cook could do better. Portion sizes obscene - why not cut back on the servings and up the quality? Wine and beer choices fine, but have a drink and ask for directions to a real italian place where food is treated with respect and passion.

Hi and thank you for your review and feeding back your experience.

We are sorry that your recent meal with us fell short of our usual, delicious standards. We source all our ingredients from the heart of Italy, from local, family run producers from our mozzarella to our gelato, and our recipes are traditional treasures passed down and lovingly crafted from our Exec, Chef, Vittorio. All of our dishes are prepared fresh by our chefs and should arrive at your table, a true taste of Italy and to that quality.

We will ensure the Area Manager feeds this back to the kitchen team to make sure our strict kitchen quality controls are being met and that all of our dishes are delivered to our high standards and arrive, a true taste of Italy.

In the meantime, if you would like to follow this up with us directly, please feel free to contact us at, social@bellaitalia.co.uk

We hope we get a second chance in the near future to prove to you and your taste buds that we are Bella than the rest.

Ciao for now,

Bella Italia.

Didn’t book but decided to call in on the off chance. The restaurant was full upstairs but we were shown downstairs to a huge area that had lots of seats available. Our waiter ‘Gabriel’ took our order straight away. He was courteous, friendly and very efficient. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would be very happy to be served by Gabriel - he is an asset to the company

As mains we ordered the pollo funghi, which was delicious and far better than I expected. The desserts were also really nice, we had the cookie dough al forno and the strawberry pannacotta. We decided to try the Elderflower and citrus spritz which was really refreshing. Service was also great and pretty quick. The restaurant itself is really pretty and full of charm. Will definitely be making a bee line to this restaurant when I am in London in the future.
