“Great Boozer”
Review of The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms
Ranked #2,803 of 24,685 Restaurants in London
Cuisines: Thai
Description: The Kings Arms located in the architecturally wonderful backstreets of Waterloo, a quintessential real ale pub in one of the most historic streets in London. We have nine real ale pumps and a constantly evolving beer list which makes the Kings Arms a unique experience, we have beers from Dark Star, Ringwood, Adnams, Brains to name a few, we source new and inspired brews from local to far afield. Our multi-winning "pub of the year" site is about as traditional as traditional pubs get, but with a Thai twist coming out of its popular kitchen too.

Staying at the Mad Hatter and getting bored with Fullers, found this great little boozer in the side streets.
Very friendly, clean, excellent selection of beers. A great Old Scholl Pub. Great find and highly recommended.

Not very large bars if you just want a drink. They often don't fill the pint glasses to the top so you need to ask for a top up. I'm sure a lot of people don't but that's not funny when youa re paying £4 & more for a pint.

A great place off the beaten track to stop for a drink, good choice of ales and tasty wine. We didn’t eat at the Thai restaurant but people were already seated ready for opening time.
Will go back next time we visit London

Went for a meal in the back room, The food and service were fine but the room is also just a seating area for the pub and there was a rugby match on the telly, The telly was turned up so loud that all the drinkers were bellowing at each other, with the result that the noise level was so high we couldn't hear each other talk. So don't go if you are looking for a pleasant evening with friends.

A rather eclectic range of real ale on offer-Adnams being the only one i recognised. You never know what style of beer you will get when you order a craft ale so i tend to steer clear of them. However great Thai food in the room at the back-a good place for a quick and delicious lunch. Very friendly service.
