Good afternoon annedc2018,

A short and brief feedback with only positive comments, what a pleasure !

We will have a look at the bar scent in the next day to make sure it's not too strong.

We wish you a lovely weekend.

This hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from Russel Square tube station, and 15-20 mins walk from Covent Garden. The front desk staff were polite and friendly, and our room was ready when we checked-in at 1230. The room itself was a little small, but nicely done, with tea and coffee making facilities, and a small amount of storage. It did look out onto a brick wall, but on the plus side it was quiet.
There are a few annoying things that the hotel could easily change ... Firstly the rooms are too hot, they are over heated as over reviewers have mentioned. Secondly there is an automatic light that is triggered when you walk into the bathroom, and it is not possible to disable it (if you go in there in the night it floodlights the whole bedroom, before you can get the bathroom door shut) Lastly there is no fridge in the room or ice machine, so be prepared for warm drinking water.

Dear debsjc,

Thank for taking the time to share your stay with us.

We are happy to read that you had an overall good experience and we will take into consideration your feedback to improve our rooms.
Regarding the allocation itself you can try a room on a high floor and facing the pedestrian way to enjoy a nicer/brighter view. Feel free also to ask for a room with a fridge as we are offering this option. I will inform our Maintenance about the issue with the bathroom light.
You should have been able to set the temparature in your room by switching off the heater or turning on the A/C.
Did you try to get in touch with us to check it for you ?

We remain at your disposition and wish you a lovely weekend.

Friendly staff and clean room. Quick check in/out. 10-15 minutes walk from St Pancras train station/King's Cross Underground; 5 minutes walk from Russell station. Plenty of good restaurants right outside the restaurant. Excellent food at Marco's Bloomsbury restaurant where i had one of the best burgers ever.Small rooms.

Friendly enough, but the room looked out onto a brick wall, fortunately we only stayed two nights. Handy for British museum, and plenty of places to eat nearby. Reasonable price which was possibly the reason we booked it. Room otherwise ok, just a bit dull.

We stayed at this hotel on St Patricks weekend and will be choosing too stay here again. We arrived at the hotel and unfortunately our rooms was not ready but of course being a weekend and the location of the hotel i guess it would of been busy. non the less the receptionist, Silvia i'm sure the ladies name was and extremely helpful, treated me and my partner to complimentary drinks in the bar for the inconvenience which has never happened in the past when staying at other hotels.
The room was nice, clean and spacious. Was worried being next to a side street which had several pubs down it but heard nothing at night. Bathroom was very clean.
We choose to eat in the restaurant and the food was ok, expected a little more from a Marco Pierre White brand. The staff again where excellent. Robert and Stephan where very polite and worked hard to welcome everyone, the barman (A genlteman with a ponytail) was talkative and very polite as well.
Really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London and hopefully be revisiting again this year.
Massive thank you too all the staff who i have not mentioned
