“Pleasant location”

The apartment is very comfortable. There are two bedrooms, which were a bit cramped for 6 of us, but the payoff is that there is now a well-equipped kitchen/lounge, wth laundry and dishwasher. The downside - poor internet. Yara was pleasant, but did not show up as promised to check us out and arrange for the deposit to be refunded. I expect a full refund, as we left the place in immaculate rider, with many additions for which we paid.
Hint:- there is a path beside #27, which will take you to Colindeep Lane, where you can flag down a 324 bus.

“did not get my deposit back”

-nice 3 bedrooms upstairs but had only one bath. had to share the kitchen with the owner. we were given a key so no problems coming and going. the tube was about a 15-20 min walk. my only negative comment was we still have not gotten our deposit back. all our attempts to contact the owner have been met with silence. that is no way to conduct the business.

“Great Base”
Reviewed 20 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We have just returned from staying in Yara's home and from us all a big thank you and sorry Jen (other Jen) broke a dish on our last morning, she left you a little money to re-place it. This was a great base for us, we had 3 day seminars at the Allianze, which was just 10 minutes in the car. There was 6 adults in our party and we had a bed each. Yara is a lovely lady, who looks great for her age (sorry just had to mention that). If we go next year we hope to stay here again. ;-)

“Mediocre and overpriced”

Travellers: Couple with 2 children aged 17 and 11.
This was an adequate property for visiting London.
Pros:
The towels are really nice and fluffy and the WiFi is good.
Cons:
Only 1 toilet roll for family of 4 for 3 nights
There was only an overhead light which was very harsh. When I asked if the owner had a smaller lamp, she told me that there was a standard lamp but it needed a new bulb. She didn't offer a different light or replace the bulb.
There was no plug in the bath and the plug in the sink didn't work.
There was no way to control the heating so we were intermittently too cold.
The kitchen and dining room are shared with the owner and we didn't feel that we could use these as there was a lot of clutter, particularly boxes stacked up in the dining area. It felt like we were intruding in somebody elses house.
The dining area is a conservatory which is very cold - there is heating but it requires forward planning to use it, you can't just go and eat your breakfast in there without shivering.
There was no information about the local area or public transport etc.
The decor was tired and in need of a lick of paint.
On returning home, I received an email form the owner to tell me that she had retruned our £100 deposit but we only received £96. I have contacted her about this but she has never replied. Not impressed.
